A unique buying service for late model pre-owned vehicles

Ron Cowan, President and owner has been in the auto industry for almost 20 years, both in sales and the repair business.

In the early 90’s, he had numerous customers of his repair business (Lauck Motors), ask him who he would recommend for the purchase of their next late model pre-owned vehicle. As he explains, his shop did pre-purchase inspections on cars from used car lots from all over the North Fulton area. Invariably, he says they would find many of these cars needed repairs totally as high as thousands of dollars. It was at this time he decided to get his used car license to provide his customers an alternative to the used car dealers.

This is how the service works:

The customer fills out a vehicle interest sheet which details the make, model, colors and equipment desired.

Pricing:

There are two options:

The first option is the COST PLUS option.

This option works best with vehicles that are still under factory warranty. The customer pays, the cost of the vehicle, transportation charges(currently $95.00), buyers fee (charged by the auction facility), title transfer fee $18.00, sales tax and $1500.00 sellers fee.

The second option:

Lauck Motors will quote a “Not to exceed” price for the vehicle. This price includes the complete inspection, and service/reconditioning of this vehicle. The only additional cost(s) are the title transfer fee and sales tax.
